“Prevention & Intervention: Pathways to Reducing Acts of Mass Violence.”

The AAIWG will host its Fall 2022 Symposium on Friday, October 14th at the DoubleTree Hotel, 210 Holiday Court, Annapolis, MD. The theme of this year’s Symposium, “Prevention & Intervention: Pathways to Reducing Acts of Mass Violence,” will feature a keynote address by Peter F. Langman, Ph.D., discussing behavioral threat assessment, and helping attendees to understand the psychological basis for targeted violence. The afternoon will feature panel discussions on State, federal, and local efforts to prevent acts of mass violence, and domestic terrorism, and the grant funding available to assist with prevention & intervention efforts. How do I apply to attend?

The application for the Symposium is open now through Thursday, September 15th. Space is limited, and the Symposium is provided free of charge to attendees. The AAIWG will review the application submissions and will notify all attendees who have been accepted to attend via email on September 16th. To apply to attend as an individual: click here.
